I'm wondering the same thing. Sonic always seemed so lonely, and never mentioned having a friend where he came from, so I'm assuming they haven't met yet, but...I guess we'll (hopefully?!) find out someday!!

Okay, I'm just gonna say it. Tails is a way better hero than Sonic.
His backstory is way more interesting than Sonic or Knuckles, and while he may not be as strong as his older colleagues, he's the only one with the intellect to match Robotnik.
I'm also impressed by the fact that, despite having a bunch of his loved ones die, he didn't turn into some emo crybaby like Shadow.

I will have to admit that my knowledge of the Sonic universe is kinda pathetic, since the only games I've actually beaten were the Genesis ones! But it's a series I hope to catch up on someday, although I'm having a hard time even keeping up with the series I've been keeping up with this whole time. Oof. D; I'm falling behind badly...
But I look forward to catching up on it someday, maybe if life ever gives me a break?
