Sara gave him a flat-look, "Even painful ones?"

"I've gone numb to them," He sighed. "When you get them daily -hourly-, they become... irrelevant."

Sara looked over at him, "Oh.. well that sucks."

"But... you're only a minor headache. Nothing too major." He smiled softly, nearly sweetly, if it wasn't for his overly large and sharp fangs.

"Aw, the pissy vampire has a soft side," She smiled, nudging him softly.Β

He grumbled. "Do you even have any friends?"

"No not really," She sighed, looking away.

"I hate to sound like I'm lecturing you, but its probably the way you act," He mumbled. "You are quite beautiful, I'll give you that. I can imagine, you'd be someone less... aggravating, once I get to know you better. Which I hope to."

"Yeah, I know," Sara shrugged, "I can't help it thoguh..And,, I'm sorry."

"And I can't help my temper. I'm also sorry," he said and turned slightly. "Though... would you like to know me better?"

Sara turned to him and paused. She smiled, "Sure. You're not a romeo, but I;m no Juliet, but I'd like to know you too."

He blushed. "Thank you..." He smiled widely. "What else do you want to know, Sara?"

"Oh, probably," he said and smirked. "I'd hate to have bloodstains on those pretty teeth of yours..."

She rolled her eyes, "there isn't a single cell on my body that looks pretty."

He walked up to her, and slapped her across the face. "Sara. I mean Sara."

Sara slapped him twice, "Sara who?"

He pulled away, eyes wide. He then closed his eyes and sat back down, burying his head in his hooves.

She smiled, and sat down. kissing his cheek, "I think I know who you're talking about."

He looked back up, tears in his eyes. "I really hope so..."

She wiped away his tears, "Don't cry." She kissed his forehead.

He blushed, looking up at her. "I..." He turned away with embarrassment.

She giggled, and rolled her eyes, "C'mon, where did all that confidence go? It was here a second ago.."

He smiled slightly. "What? Are you trying to flirt with me now?"

Sara shrugged, "Sure. I'll give it a shot."

He laughed. It wasn't his typical evil laugh, this one was something more beautiful. "Well... I'm glad that you're finally opening up to me..."Β

"Don't let it get to your head," She smirked.

"Of course not," he grinned evilly.

She rolled her eyes, and stood up, "Well, do you wanna go do something? Go somewhere? Liek the library... or.... y'know...?"

He smiled softly. "Well, what would you like?"

Sara tilted her head, "I have an idea..." She took his hand, and squeezed it, "That is... if you can run fast enough..."

"Vampires have a lot more strength then you think..." He looked at her. "What is it?"

"The library," She smirked, "Its a much more interesting place if you know where to look." She led him through several streets, and past a couple crowds. She led him through a damp empty street that was crowded with apartments and stores, but no one was out. Clotheslines hung from across the windows, and the sun barely ever caught them. Heavy mist hung in the air, and she smiled, "We're close."

He followed her the whole way, then stopped, panting. "I sure hope so..."

"Don't worry," Sara assured him, leading him to a small library. She opened the door, and led him deep inside. "C'mon, I think I have one you'll like..." She led him to the Fantasy aisle, and pulled out a maroon book.

He followed tiredly. He was sweating, but less from the running and more from the cloaking spell he'd used to hide his real appearance. He looked exhausted by the time he collapsed against a wall.Β

Sara supported him, "C'mon Sebastian," She led him to her favorite chair and sat him down. She kissed his forehead, and flipped through the book, "What do you want to see?"

He blushed brightly. "I'm... not sure. Whatever you want to see."

Sara nodded, "Alright..." She opened the book, and flipped to a page. It was completely blank, but as soon as she touched the paper, she and Sebastian where in a huge vast forest, bright green, and misty. She smiled, and looked around, "This is new!"
