Ever had a project that you just could NOT finish?...Yeah, this is one of mine.
I have to work on this in two-hour-shifts about, like once a week. Because the fur is fucking killing me, and it's really frustrating to not be able to sit down and slap on some high-contrast shit and have it finished in one sitting like I'm used to doing. o___o This is so not my style happy place.
GAH. MAKE IT DIIIIE.
Adobe Photoshop CS1. 15+ hours so far.

But really, it's gorgeous...all your hard work IS paying off, it's a very realistic texture! The fur is detailed just like REAL fur...and that's pretty hard to capture in a painting. So, nice work!

This is really stunning, I couldn't stop staring at it for a while. A lot of people say "the level of detail" blah blah as a compliment but THIS really has an enormous level of detail. Wonderful work.
