And here it is, our final night alive
As the earth burns to the ground

Oh boy, it's you that I lie with
As the atom bomb locks in
Oh boy, it's you I watch TV with
As the world, as the world caves in

General:

Name: Jeod (Jaw-d)

Age: 3 Year 6 Months
As of 6/4/19
Birthday: November 12th 46 BC (2015)

Gender: Male

Species: Tiger

Rank: Hunter

Genetics:
Dominant: Dark Front Legs, Light Back Legs, Grey Eyes
Recessive: Minimal Striping, Brown Pelt, Dark Tail
Carrier: Orange Coloration, Red Coloration, Green Eyes, Blue Eyes

Personality:

Social: Jeod is one of those felines that is practically friends with everybody. That is, he treats everyone as a friend unless they prove themselves otherwise. He's always open to including others in a conversation or activity, especially if it seems like they're struggling. "No one should have to sit alone" he often says. He is very social and it's incredibly rare to see him by himself. However, he doesn't always develop strong connections with all the people he speaks with and often hold a lot of his inner emotions and personal feelings back, especially if they show that he's struggling or in a bad place emotionally.

Adaptable: He still will act varyingly depending on who he's speaking to. A large part of his behavior still revolves greatly around instinctively "kissing up" to cats he looks up to or are in a position above him, putting on his most formal behavior often and as always trying to present himself as a capable hunter who doesn't let bad things that happen to him have much affect on him as he's comet o believe that things like that will make others look down on him.

Responsible: He sees himself as a fairly dependable and reliable Hunter and it's true that he can be put up to most important tasks and be expected to complete them or view them with the upmost integrity. He's incredibly loyal to the hunter program and more so the feline's who head it. He'd fight to the death in the name of the felines he looks up to and considers close.

Hardworking: Jeod has made his way through his apprentice training faster than many have before him, not only is he completely devoted to his work, he's also become fairly skilled in it as well although he'll admit little of his accomplishments will really matter until he proves himself out in the field.

Depressed: Despite all his friendliness and good intentions it's become increasingly evident that there's a sort of weight on Jeod's shoulders, a sort of tiredness about him. As much as he tries to hide it it's not hard to tell that the tiger has declined slightly or is still declining.

Attention Seeker: As both his "parents" are Elite Hunters, Asa is used to quite a bit of attention from his peers. Whenever this attention wavers, he always tries to think of a quick way to get it back, whether it be the right or wrong sort of attention. Often, getting himself into trouble is the best way for him to feel "special".

Jocular: This cub is the light of the party, his jovial behavior tends to make him stand out among the hunters. He loves to joke around with others. If he teases or pokes fun at you, that means he likes you. He will come up with nicknames for his closer friends, often one's that don't make sense if they aren't within his group of friends.

Rowdy: This cub is loud and boisterous. You can always count on him to be yelling above the rest of the conversation, often gaining hushing reprimands from his mother or any other nearby adults. As stated before, he loves to draw attention to himself- made quite obvious by the volume of his voice. As a tribune, there is much concern for him to learn to tone it down before becoming an apprentice.

Background:

The joining of Jeod's parents was not an unusual one for a couple of tigers of their position. Kleio and Alukard were paired up by the humans, thought to be a good pair to produce strong offspring for the hunters. While neither were outraged by the match, there would be some bitterness as Alukard would not be helping in the raising of the cubs. He has his own mate and only wants to call his children with her his own.

As it would turn out, Kleio realized she was going to have cubs just as war was fast approaching. She had been chose to lead a patrol by the Bounty Hunter Leader, Thanatos. She had been working her was up to confessing her feelings for the grey tiger and although her expectancy made things more complicated, it also made her more desperate to tell him. However the leader went missing the night of the war and was assumed dead. Heartbroken and with no one to help her raise her cubs, she turned to a close friend of hers, Shen to help her raise the cubs. Although he was startled and uncertain at first, Shen agreed and would step in as a sort of father figure to the cubs.

Later on, three healthy cubs were born. This one, Jeod, quickly turned out to be quite the social butterfly as well as a bit of a handful, frequently needing to be shushed by his mother and adoptive father. However, this cub- young and full of energy- still has a future full of opportunities withing the Hunters.

Jeod quickly distinguished himself as the troublemaker of the trio often getting himself or all three of them into trouble. Despite this, he loves his sisters dearly and he isn't about to let anyone tease or bully them.

The early months of his cubhood were good and the young tiger found himself making friends quickly and showing himself as a bit ambitious and hardworking even as a cub, attending several training sessions and sparring matches held by Judas. (Although in one case he got in trouble along with the other cubs and had to run The Gauntlet™).

The good days were destined to be short lived, unfortunately as one day their mother and the mother of their half siblings were sent out on an important mission they never returned from. This prompted their biological father Alukard to come clean to them about their parentage and sent their adoptive father into a downward spiral. Despite this Jeod maintained as much of a positive outlook as he could, claiming his mom would be back because of course "she was too skilled of a hunter to succumb to the empire cats and would never leave her cubs".

Around this time a few things happened rather quickly, Judas whom Jeod looked up to a lot had his own cubs around that time as Jeod was also promoted to apprentice with his sisters and Shen whom they still largely considered their father took off one night along with their adopted brother Maximus to go try to find Kleio and Shadow and a fellow apprentice Jeod had begun to befriend, Zhar disappeared as well. Jeod had become quick friends with Levi and Lilika, both of Judas's cubs, however.

Now without any real parental figures and feeling too guilty and weird about his cubs with Shadow to see Alukard as a father- although he looks up to and appreciates the Hunter immensely- the still very young tiger tried to focus as much on his training as he could. He still insisted his parents and family would come back although it became clearer as he progressed through his training that the apprentice's belief in his parents was faltering as the news of their disappearance faded behind new trials the Hunter program as a whole was facing. Lightning Empire had broken in and stolen Tribunes, a few cats had been found to have left the Hunters to join the Empires.

Thus Jeod's hopes for his parents' return eventually broke down and faded away as he buried himself more and more in his training, quickly progressing towards the status of Hunter which he achieved within 7 months of his becoming an apprentice, ranking up at only a little over a year of age.

During his apprenticeship aside from working hard he also made a few more friends and developed a crush on Randi, a fellow apprentice and the leader of the Hunters, Azrael, took Jeod under his wing and became another adoptive parent figure to the tiger who also became close with his other adoptive daughter, Alexei.

Almost immediately after reaching the title of full Hunter, Jeod enrolled in the Hunter Rehabilitation Program to further train and prove his worth to the hunters as well as continue to bury and repress his feelings about his parents. For the first stretch of time within the program Jeod remained his usual, social self but after a little while it seemed the young Hunter was running out of steam. Working hard wasn't solving any of his problems, just hiding them from view and the Hunter still had never really come to terms with the likely death of Shen, Max, and Kleio. Jeod began to stagnate in the "H.U.R.T." program, struggling with his training and some of the isolation that came with being in the program.

Rubyna, one of his half sisters and also enrolled in the program with him, seeing this, has made an effort to reach out to him and give him subtle encouragement. If nothing else, her companionship helped him feel less alone in the program and push him towards beginning to make progress again.

Interesting Facts:

-Jeod asked for a scarf after he saw that Maribel had gotten one (jealous much?)
-he still has and often wears said scarf he received from his mom although at this point it is rather worn out and a bit small for him
