Genetics:
Dominant: blue eyes, thin fur, spots, "ticked" mutation, cheetah fur
Recessive: pale coloration
Carrier: amber eyes, long fur, stocky build, brown coloration, rosettes

Personality:

Extroverted: Neil is a very outgoing and friendly cub, he strives on being around other cats and absolutely revels in their company. He can often be found padding around camp (as far as his mother will let him) and introduce himself to those around him, getting to know them, then reporting back to Nebula on who he met that day.

Affectionate:Neil is very affectionate and isn't afraid to show his affection to other cats, often openly telling them he loves or cares about them, more patricularly his mother, who is a very important and crucial part in his life.

Clever:Neil is a fairly clever little cub, often trying to find more than one way to do something, or to hide something from his sisters. He tries to look at all the possibilities, and try and pick the best way to do whatever he needs to.

Dramatic: Get this kid a chill pill because he needs to stop. Everything is the end of the world it seems with Neil, well not literally, but the kid has a flair for the dramatics, he blows everything out of proportion, but it comes in handy when trying to impress other cubs. Sometimes...

Ambitious: Neil is the ambitious little cub, and is determined to finish what he starts. He won't leave a rock unturned if he's looking under rocks, and will not stop for anyone or anything when he wants to get something done.

Stubborn: Neil is quite ambitious, but once he gets started, it is near impossible to get him to stop. He won't listen to anyone, and if you do get a response out of him it'll be sass.

Snarky: When he's in a mood Neil is quite the little snark. Everything that comes out of his mouth is back sass or something rude and passive aggressive. He's a little annoying like this but hey, when you have two sisters you have to do SOMETHING to get them to go away.

Loquacious: Neil's mouth always seems to be running, he even talks in his sleep. This little boy is very chatty, seeming to have something to say about nearly everything going on, whether it be the weather, that bird that won't shut up and needs to be quiet, or his siblings, Neil's almost always talking. Dear lord.

Background:
Neil was born to Evander and Ayanna, though...he doesn't remember them. They left Shadow empire not long after Neil and his sisters were born. So the little hybrid first opened his eyes to the chinchilla flank of his adoptive mother, Nebula. At first, he didn't understand why he didn't look like his mother, or his father for example. Drake's fur was a beautiful orange, and Nebula's was a blueish hue. His was well, not. Overlooking this fact, Neil didn't let it bother him. Drake and Nebula were his real mother and father, even though others said they weren't.

Neil grew and developed with his two sisters who were really annoying but he loved them anyways. He nearly slept through the raid on Shadow Empire, safe deep within the nursery, but he heard a lot about it namely from Clarity who had watched the entire thing in horror.
His sister seemed a bit different after that and although he might tease her for it a little bit, he secretly supports her goal of being a healer and she's always the first feline he runs to when he's tripped or taken a tumble and is worried he's going to be crippled for life (which is often).
Joe, often the cause of such instances, really likes to roughhouse which has resulted in Neil running away from her more than a couple times although sometimes he does try to humor her even though he hates getting all dirty.
A bit of a late bloomer, while the two of his sisters have promoted, Neil has remained a cub for a little bit longer. While his aversion to getting his paws dirty and wrestling has caused a bit of a delay in his promotion, Neil is incredibly determined to become an apprentice and catch up to his siblings so by the gods it's going to happen.

Which he eventually did. After some tumbles and some tears and some encouragement from his aunt Sara. As expected his apprenticeship was slow going.. but he did make a close friend in Nocturne at least close from Neil's perspective, joining the Ministry of Devroop in an attempt to garner more of the snow leopard's attention and friendship.
