Description Couple of days ago I got to talk to my old pal, Girl, whom I have not met since graduation. I heard the breaking news of her mother (who recently divorced away with Girl's father) having passed away the winter of 2005. Girl's mother was in unstable conditions and have been going through rehabs...though I must say this was one of the least things that I, or Girl, have expected.

I don't know much about Girl's mother (hence why I didn't even get to write her name) and so far I only got to meet her 3 times. Girl and her mother had many difficult times with each other. From the stories that I've heard from Girl she seemed a little mentally unstable. Several times I heard from Girl how much she hated her mother...but she was happy as any child whenever her mother sent her a letter or a care package. Through this I could see that Girl's mother loved her daughters very much...just had difficulties showing it.

The above event has actually happened last winter. She was right. It was pretty...

That's a beautiful sentiment and such a wonderful dedication for her and her mother. Sometimes, the most calming things in life can be something as simple as lying down and watching the snow fall...

That is very sad... I too dealed with the death of a friend's mother. I was heartbroken for her, and I imagine you are too. My regards to you both. You did a wonderfully cute comic in dedication.

That's pretty upsetting. My original thoughts was that this comic was intended to be humorous (that was before I read the explanation) but towards the end, something told me the meaning was actually deep. I was right.. but you illustrated the memory with your friend very well. It was kind of cute, too. I remember I used to watch clouds with my best friend during summer/fall by lying on the grass and just watching them pass by. Those small bits of my life still remain as some very precious moments...........

....and I'll shut up now. XD;;
