Sometimes it's not all bad. It depends on why you are alone in the dark eating cookies. Sometimes it can be a fun, self-important experience where you can indulge yourself late-night. Other times, it's about being up all night, snacking to make yourself feel better and not exactly watching the TV but wanting to have some kind of light on to keep you company. Lovely work.

It's worse doing anything or eating anything alone. Being alone is one of the worst things in life possible. There is a saying that I had heard... it was, "If you take away a man's air, his cloths on his back, and left him in the dark by himself is true sadness." It was something like that, it's been awhile since I had heard it. Just know, please know that you and anyone else like that is not alone in the experince..
