O-O-P — Tigatron and Airazor

Description
A good friend of mine, Jon Schweer, asked me to draw two of his favorites from Beast Wars; Tigatron and Airazor. And this is what I came up with.I know coloring isn't usually my style when it comes to Beast Wars fanart, save for the real paintings I have done, but I thought I would give it a shot and give myself more practice with coloring in Photoshop. I had to make their optics glow, of course.
I love doing that. I think I like their beast modes the most but Airazor in robot mode was the most difficult. I actually had to move her arm around to place it on Tigatron's wrist, which was different from the reference I was using. Still, I think it came out nicer than I was expecting it too. 
The border has a faint wooden pattern to it, and I stuck those two green leaf shapes on the corners to add more nature to the picture. And touched it up with snow on the ground and flurries floating in the air.

I honestly couldn't believe how many hits this piece had already. x.X *falls over, exhausted* I'm just glad people like it even though it isn't my usual Beast Wars fanart.

Absoutely fantastic work.
As some of the other have stated, I wasnt too happy for the Vok changing the two of them. Nor for the fact they were benched form the series at the end of season one untill the Vok changed them.

The worst tihng with the Vok was that it wasn't even a good blend of the two of them, just biggie sized Tigatron and gave him wings.
I still tihnk a better "blending" of the two of them would have been a snow owl. A bird capable of flight like Airazor (maybe female like her too) with the colorings and nature-loving personality of Tigatron.

I think the whole idea of fuzing them together is grotesque! Did I spell that right? LoL Blending a female with a male, it's just weird. But the Vok were incompetent and annoying so that's all they could come up with as a face-to-face weapon. Those cowards.

Well the blendning of male and female together may not be as weird as you think, done quite often in mythologies. But yeah I will agree in some ways it discredits both of them. Though I still would have liked to see a snow owl as their "kid."

Looks nice! I think her knee blends into her side a little too much though, maybe darken that line? Still a very pretty piece. Kudos!
