I like the concept, and the clarity, which is not easy to get with animals who move all the time. I know how frustrating that can be.
The only thing is (really small detail!) the border at the bottom, I believe it is too big. An even one or an almost-even one would suit the photo better. (IMHO!) I love the contrast as well, great job.

Kitty
I like how the cat is blending into the wall/shadows - makes it really look like its just peaking around to get that bird.
My cat was looking out the window the other day and she all of a sudden started getting fluffy and freaking out. When we looked outside another cat had walked by. It was kinda funny, her expression of another cat coming by her window. I'd never seen her get so scared.
That was completely random but the picture reminded me of it so figured I share.
