Description
Now presenting one of my most ambitious art projects to date, featuring the main stars of my favorite Jewelpet season, Jewelpet Twinkle! Akari Sakura is easily my favorite human Jewelpet character; her growth from a shy shut-in to a confident girl was nothing short of beautiful, and throughout it all she remains selfless and determined. Of course, it helps to be doing this alongside Ruby and Labra, the best friends she could've asked for.This took me a little over a week to finish, both due to the scale and that I was determined to make this one of my best art pieces ever. The rune circle was made using a compass, and somewhat simplified compared to how it appears in the series. Ruby was easy since I've drawn her several times by now, and Labra wasn't too hard either even though it was my first time drawing her. Of course, the hardest part was drawing Akari's super-detailed magic outfit. Since it changed over the course of the series after every two Jewel Stars, and the wiki didn't have much in the way of a comprehensible guide as to which designs appeared when, I made a composite design from what was labeled as her most recent designs.
