4/20 - Hey, look at that, a basic outline! I'm slowly getting everything cleaned up in my tiny amount of free time, but I wanted desperately to get something up today and prove that I am indeed working on the page as promised! Until I get the text boxes added and better distinguish what's going on in the later panels, please refer to the page summary below. Full update, page description and non-colored outline to follow by the start of the weekend. Thanks for all your patience everyone!

Sorry for doing this guys, but life's been giving me the short end of the stick here of late. I'm quite thankful to have had an extension to begin with, but working all the overtime I've recently had to put in at my office finally caught up to me and made me sick... I didn't want to desert the page though, so I did write up a script, I'm just finishing the artwork. I'll have the page template up by tomorrow and update the description in the morning. For now though, I'm beat, and I'm off to get more rest. Enjoy the silly little 5 minute chibi base sketch I made until the real page is posted, and here's a teaser to give you a preview if what's to come. Until tomorrow!

Page Summary

Page begins where last page left off with Magenta's group. Black Ice is getting ready to pour an enormous amount of water over their unconscious teammates.

Black Ice: *too enthusiastic* This is going to be so much fun! I've always wanted to do this!

Black Ice moves the water towards Violet, Rapid and Taboo but brings the water abruptly to a halt as she notices the water is hardening to ice! The shards stop just short of everyone's heads as Ice and the group turn quickly to a voice coming out of the shadows.

Raiden: How quickly heroes forget their enemies. You really think it wise waking them all at once? And here I thought your lot might actually be smart.

*Black Ice, Wolf Woman and Magenta take up fight stances, Ricochet hangs back on guard as she was not involved in the previous fight against Raiden*

Magenta: *glares* We certainly haven't forgotten we have an enemy in you. What do you want, Raiden?

Raiden: *smirks* Hmm, well if that's the way you want it to be, then I won't waste my time with you. Fighting for Tim is no longer worth my effort, but neither is fighting for those who lack knowledge of their situation. It might be more interesting to leave you at the mercy of Tim's right hand in this scheme...

Black Ice: What are talking about? Everyone here, hero or villain is in the same boat. Who ---

Ricochet: *remembers Taboo beginning the fight back with her previous group* Wait, he may have a point, not that I'd trust him. *to Raiden* What are you proposing?

Before Raiden can answer...

Wolf Woman: Not to interrupt, but *pointing at Taboo* where did her tattoos go?

Taboo: (thinking) So Raiden's turning against us now... Figures, Tim never should have let anyone else in on this. But that doesn't matter now, something's wrong. I've heard nothing from Tim in quite some time. Time to end this silly charade and get things moving again.

Cut to Imagine in the last panel

Imagine: *lost in thought* Old magic... tied to one power source... confines its victims to a certain area... definitely old magic... this is all connected somehow.... That's it!
