Echinacea flower:
This flower is the most poisonous flower in all of Millennium. Not many people can handle this dangerous flower without getting sick. The thorns of this flower are black and the stem is a dark wine red and the petals have a subtle glow to them. The aroma of the Echinacea flower varies from person to person but it's usually the same thing of what they find the most pleasent to smell and the flower uses this to lure in victims. You see, the Echinacea flower thrives on the life force of those that come into contact, those that do not get sick from touching the poisonous petals have a natural immunity. The myths surrounding the flower are that it was created by the darkness itself to feed off the Dreamwalkers since they are the most vulnerable to this plant. The stronger the Dreamwalker the more severe the side effects are.

The side effects are as listed:

Painful stomach cramps.
Extreme dizzyness throughout the day that can hit at random.
Decreased energy.
Severe headaches and fainting spells.
Painful coughing that can result in vomiting up blood.
Complete numbness if not treated right away.
On rare occasions the affected will lose their sight.
Shortness of breath.
Becoming physically and magically weaker.

If prepared right the Echinacea flower loses the aroma and is famous on the black market as a liquid and untraceable poison. Liquidized, the flower becomes much more potent and far more dangerous. To the Dreamwalkers of the skeleton kind this clear liquid destroys their magic at a rapid but painful process. With Dreamwalkers of the flesh variety, it turns their organs to liquid - the eyes are usually the first to go and the ooze that comes from the sockets is often mistaken as HATE due to being black and having the same consistancy. If the flower is turned into a powder, the side effects are lessened and thus take longer to show themselves. In this lavender powder form, the Echinacea flower boosts the immune system and becomes highly addictive like a drug. It's also used as a supplment for proper foods and often leads to starvation to the one ingesting this powder.

If you were to somehow survive living off this powder and managed to get off it, your immune systems would forever be damaged and you will be sickly for the rest of your life. A common cold could be fatal to you.

Tree of Feelings
The Tree of Feelings was planted in the early years of the Millenium Era as a gift from the Dreamwalker, King Euphoria and stood as a symbol of peace and prosperity - which it still does today but has since been moved to a more secluded spot. When this tree was planted for the purpose of uniting all the people of the world, it had bound them in a magical contract. They could not betray each other for if they did a second era of ashen snow would befall all of Millennium and the darkness would come again.

From this tree grew two colored apples, beautiful golden sun kissed apples that looked like the purest form of gold known to anyone and the second was the apple that looked like deep space itself kissed by the night bathed in the moon's silver glow.

These apples have never been eatten but they have been picked so the Tree would stay healthy and strong. Sometimes, on rare times, the Tree of Feelings will produce an apple that is a mix of the two and they were the most prized out of all the other apples. The very first of these apples are actually still around, though preserved carefully in a museum in the capital city of the High Kingdom. How these apples come about is that the sun and moon need to share the sky but not in a solar eclipse where the sky is half day and half night. This phenomenon only happens ever 2,000 years and that's why these apples are so highly valued.

Birth of Dream and Nightmare
Dream was the first one born, 127 years before Nightmare would be born. Dream was born during dawn's first light -by first light I mean first ray of light to even touch the land- from one of the golden apples. When Dream was born, he had the classic eyes of a Sun Born Dreamwalker. They were wonderful and unique to those who witnessed his coming. He was a treasured child and taken under wing of the advisor who treated him with fatherly love, having yet not been corrupted by the evil and power he would later become mad for.

127 years later when Dream was a toddler, Nightmare was born on the Event where the day and night meet where night and day shared the sky and he came from the half golden and half midnight space. Even in previous years this had never happened before and he was the first Dreamwalker to be born of this event. No one had seen the birth of a second High Prince coming but they loved him just the same as Dream and was given to the advisor to take care of him.

The Advisor's Madness
The day Nightmare was born was the day the advisor started to desire power. He was the only one who bothered to remember the days when Dreamwalkers roamed the earth so he knew immediately what Dream and Nightmare were. Though his desire for power didn't start with Dream because he genuinely did used to care about him. Even though the lingering darkness persuaded the advisor into becoming what he is known for today behind closed doors, it doesn't excuse his actions or the fact he did everything willingly and with a clear mind. Because Nightmare was born on such a rare event and birthed from the apple created by said event, the advisor knew Nightmare would be special and it sparked the hunger for power and allowed the darkness to seep into him. Becoming a host and the casing for the darkness that caused the Imperium Era.

Removal of the wings
As you may know, in their later years their eyes are different and they don't have wings and their eyes are different.

When they were teenagers the advisor had removed their wings.

For Dream, he tore them off from his magic since a Sun Born's wings aren't attached to their physical body but to their magic. Dream's magic had bled profusely for days after and the advisor gave him a potion called "Forget Me Not", named after a flower of a smiliar name and this had made Dream forget. Before he gave Dream the potion, he had a magic surgery preformed on him, changing his magical strusture to remove the classic Sun Born eyes.

For Nightmare, he did much the same thing to him but since a Moon Born's wings are attached to their physical body...well...it got pretty bloody. Soon after the surgery Nightmare had the magic accident near the Tree of Feelings and lost his right eye and got facial markings.
