Well... the skies exploded for about 20 minutes. Literally, it looked like we weould be swept away in the onslaught of rain and wind and hail (our neighbor's house is now 'wearing' one of the large cottonwood trees that used to stand in his back yard and our yard is full of leaves and branches, both large and small). After we dealt with the waterfall from the ceiling of the kitchen and went to check on the neighbors, I stopped to take some photos of the lightning and storm as it continued it's violent path eastward.When I showed the pictures to my husband, his response was... 'ALIEN INVASION!' I love you honey...
