This happens a lot. Phone calls, drive-thru orders, you name it. People at work think I'm only 18 and don't take me seriously. Any time I'm on voice chat while gaming, other players think I'm like 12 to 15. I give fast food workers whiplash when they find out I'm the "lady" who ordered a number 7 large.

I fucking hate my voice. It's not low enough to be recognizably male, so then I try to compensate by not being too feminine with my speech pattern, if that makes any sense. My mom described my voice as "butch lady" or something... yeah that makes me feel real great about myself. Thanks Mom.
