I been on deviantart a long ass time. Long enough that I have to relearn it after a few years of snoozing. Long enough to escape an abusive family and learn to love and accept myself for who I am, and find a new family who does as well. Also, cats.

I kept the under painting but I really like the juxtaposition of soft acrylic with sharp marker and ink. I take a lot of inspiration from art nouveau in that regard, although my shapes trend toward glitchcore. I mean, that’s what I would say if I was my own critic, and I’m not, really. I’d rather not like to be.

I love color, too, and GREEN. Chartreuse is my favorite color, I love how it’s on such a fizzling edge between green or yellow.
It’s the color of a fresh seedling bursting to life from the dirt.

I’m really happy to be back here, where it’s quieter, slower, and I can hear my own thoughts. Social media has exhausted me and I enjoyed the times when I uploaded and never actually cared who saw my piece or interacted, it was just my world that existed because I made the decision to carve a space for myself.
