This particular Venus Flytrap has always been different from her kin. This is due to growing up in a small park in a suburb, a place frequented by humans. Even from an early age, she's had a love for human food and drink, and a particular favorite is soft drinks. She will go out of her way to grab any human food she can, and has never once eaten a fly or any sort of bug.
On this particular day, she had the great fortune to have a full, unopened can fall right beside er from a group going on a picnic nearby. She had plans to see if she could get anything else, but after finishing the can, she's going nowhere for a while.
