So here's the story: Before The New Tom Green Show was cancelled, they were running the contest to get Tom and Glenn to come to your town. Well, some guy here in Muncie, Indiana, won, so we had a parade downtown for them. None of you will ever get to see the video footage that was shot because MTV cancelled the show, but here is a part of the Tom Green history you can now see.

The parade started at Dave's Alley in downtown Muncie, named after David Letterman himself. Tons of people showed up for the occasion. As you can see, the firebreather was clearly excited. That car was about the only part of the parade I actually got to see. Tom, Glenn, and a bunch of other people came out on maybe the fifth or sixth float that passed through with about 4/5 of the rest of the parade behind them. As they rode through the streets, they stopped every few feet and Tom Green would yell random things through his bullhorn. We all finally made it into the convention center, hundreds of us crammed into that tiny space, and Tom declared that Muncie, IN, is the best city in the world. They also declared September 17 as Tom Green and Glenn Humplik Day.

And even though our city probably wasted money putting the event together, we still love Tom Green, as the float indicates.
