Story: The younger sister of Derva, Philene is the last born of the family and also the least belligerent of the three children Diog and Arsilien had.
Much more feminine than her sister and much less interested in combat and warfare, considering them "men's concern". She shared a loving relationship with Malko but often bickered with Derva who found her way too gentle and sensitive. Actually, Derva is very jealous of Philene, who isn't barren and at ease with her own femininity, while Philene secretly admires her sister's strength and determination. But to each other's face, Derva calls her a "wimp" and Philene says Derva "has constant PMS".
She also witnessed the unfortunate end of Malko, something that scarred her even deeper than Derva. Ever since, she decided to become stronger, like her sister, so that she wouldn't have to stand powerless in front of such an event again. She actually hates Veliniffa even more than Derva since the blonde bitch taunted her right after killing Malko and beating up Derva by saying: "There is nothing more laughable than a weeping little girl".
Philene is still training under the rule of her parents and still lives with them. She will enter the training program of Lady Senami shortly, just like Derva did back in the days. Diog is especially protective of her but both him and Arsilien are becoming more and more demanding towards her.
She is often seen with Baxem, with whom she shares a lot of interests. She has a crush on him but he only feels affection for her and isn't really interested in the young girl. Due to her gentle nature, she also gets well with Olano.
She isn't part of queen Saran's guard as of yet but is sometimes allowed to tag along on least danger missions. The queen likes her but finds her too naïve and weak yet to be sent on major missions.
Powers: Philene has complete control over plants in general. She can rearrange them, make them grow (even in a desert) or cause them to die. She is immune to any plant-based toxin. She can also speak with plants and teleport herself through trees. She can take someone with her but letting go of the person during a teleportation leaves them encased in the tree's trunk and kills them. She always carries a small bag with seeds in it.
Philene has also limited telekinesis over organic matter, especially organic fibre and fabrics. She can weave or unravel fabrics at will or use it to entangle her opponents. She also uses it on the arrows of her bow so as to extend her range of shooting or alter their trajectory but the more she uses is, the more she exhausts herself.
Weapons: A bow and several types of arrows, sometimes uses a crossbow, and has a perfect aim. Sometimes carries small knives as trump cards or as throwing weapons.
Weaknesses and annoying traits: Although she is a decent hand-to-hand combatant, Philene is much weaker than her sister and she knows it. Hence, she usually fights from a distance and avoids direct confrontation, unless her opponents are non-powered in which case she may be able to win.
Philene has never killed anyone yet and is very reluctant to do so, much like Olano. Also, she easily panics when things get too hot and she still has to work on her own insecurities and emotional nature.

The last character I'll be introducing for now is Derva's sister. She is much weaker than Derva though but she will be prominent later on in the series.

Also, I love how she gets to compete with Derva over who is actually a woman and there will be some talk about this between the two at some point.
