The Spinldrake

Height: 6' at the shoulder
Weight: 200 lbs
Color: Mainly dirty browns with occasional greens
Sound: Guttural hissing and snapping of jaw
Status: Rare

Region/Biome: Lives in dense temperate forests. The more moss in an area, they will have more green colors. It's rarely seen outside of a few forests. They often hide among spindly trees and vines, using their stature to blend in.

Habits: Omnivore. Enjoys mainly a meat diet but will also eat seeds, berries and certain plants. They may look quite dangerous with their large claws but only use when necessary, to dig or to forage. Tend to scavenge for meat. They do not need lots to eat and can go months without doing so, resorting to small meals or nothing at all. Not very fast. Slow and fragile. Spikes protect from predators. Nocturnal. Horns used for sparring. They are a rare sight because of over hunting and their fragility.
