Inspired by (and heavily referencing) the base by .Probably not the most romantic confession ever, but it seems so like TenTen to stumble upon Neji giving Ino relationship advice, jump to all the wrong conclusions, and declare her undying love for Neji quite suddenly to keep him from her

And Ino would respond with some serious mind attacks of her own. Though after Sakura's mind...I wonder if she's a little bit nervous to jump into someone elses who might be that insane. lol. And I don't think either sensei would condemn Neji for just trying to get out of the way. For all their lack of screentime and chances to do stuff, girls in naruto are violent!

I can just imagine Guy asking TenTen what it's about and her pointing over to the bench Neji has curled up under in a fetal position, begging whatever god is listening to PLEASE let them not eat him.

My sister and I were playing around with that this morning, and it's really a lot of fun. And adorable, because you could tell so easy when tiny Neji was distressed. It also, in our minds, sets him apart from every other Hyuuga, and actually helps him build his chakra reserves and ability to use them.

That's a good point. Activating them because of his emotions and having a harder time controlling them at first would help him build his chakra, especially in the eyes, and probably even expand abilities a little. Because unlike the sharingan, there doesn't seem to be any side affects with how often the Byakugan is used. I wonder if he scared the other kids when he was little and they would activate on their own?

I kind of like the idea that he had to learn how to turn them off more than turn them on. It just fits Neji and his insane gentle fist prowess somehow.

Same here. Unless you were used to it, seeing someones normal eyes turn unnormal would be freaky.
It really does. Also gave him another reason to learn such tight chakra control because if he didn't, he'd run out of chakra and his own blood limit would kill him.

We were doing the CUTEST RP this morning, where through a combination of circumstances, Neji/Ten/Lee were Guy's team from the time they were small children. They were SO adorable.

Okay, chibi team Guy is probably one of the most adorable idea's I've heard!! That's just way to cute!!! I can totally picture them running around and Tenten and Lee getting into even more trouble and dragging Neji along, and Neji taking the puzzle or something that Lee was playing with and Lee just so shocked and sad and Tenten angry and...it's just adorable.

They were even cuter, because it was all a secret. So when someone would come, they'd have to hide until Guy said it was safe. They were all just adorable!
Neji wanted to put hard wood floor in the whole apartment so Lee would have to learn to slow down

Well...he kind of didn't ask. Lee's mother just gave him to him, TenTen he more or less kidnapped (though her parents assumed she was dead and didn't bother looking). Neji...Hizashi gave Neji to Guy to save him from the curse seal. The other Hyuuga freaked out until Hizashi produced his 'body'. Some of the Hyuuga believe him, but there are some that are sure he managed to slip Neji away somehow.
Or at least that's how the story stood this morning.
It was so adorable, because he didn't want Guy to leave on a mission and was trying not to show it-- unlike Lee and TenTen who were both clinging to his legs and begging. It was sooooo cute.

Wow. O_O Talk about a real turn of events. I can see why he'd have to keep it a secret. Espcially Neji and Tenten, because if anyone found out he kidnapped her, even if her parents are scum, it wouldn't be good. And Neji would be cursed for sure. Though I do wonder if the curse seal is less affective if it's placed on after the age of four. Like the chakra system changes or something. Hopefully they don't suspect Guy though, because Guy isn't someone most people would think of as being someone that Hizashi would give Neji to, because he's so young himself.
Awwwwwwwwww. Poor Neji!! I can just see him standing in the corner trying not to show how much he cared and then right before Guy walked out the door, broke through and tried to get him to stay.

It was really kind of fun to imagine. In this one they stayed in the village, but we did one once where they left and Guy raised them while being a missing nin, trying to keep them safe until they were old enough to take care of themselves...it was FUN.
...We should do more with that one, actually, I liked it.

That sounds awesome!!! And that must have been really intense and hard being with him being a missing nin. Because everyone was after him then, and he would have to take jobs from less than desireable people with questionable motives. Plus you have the whole betrayal that must have caused for his friends back home but him raising them and the trouble and fun it would be...sounds way to cute. I hope you do do more with it.

I felt so bad for him, because he didn't want to betray his village, and every chance he got would secretly help a fellow Konoha nin. He wanted most too take them back home when it was safe for them to be there, and could only hope they would take him back.
Those kids were crazy strong when they got back, too!

And I'm sure they would! Konoha seems like the most forgiving nation out of all of them, and considering the reason he left was to save three kids and not just out of selfish desires for power...I can't see them really not wanting him back. Because if they found out how bad the seal was or how bad Tenten's home was...what could they really say to him? Sure he ran but he had a reason. Though I hope he didn't get any prison time.

lol. And they can't let anyone cause him trouble except them! And even they don't mean to. lol. They...would be beyond strong I think. Probably all have been trained with the weights like Lee, so they'd have amazing strength, surviving in the forest or wheverever they had to, they'd incredably good at stealth, Tenten would have had to perfect her aim even more so and without the curse seal to hold him back, Neji would have been unstoppable. They'd be like a three man plattoon!

Heck no!! I don't think there'd be anyway to actually get it on him. Especially since he grew up with no loyalty to the Hyuuga clan and probably just to the memory of his father, Guy and the loyalty Guy instilled in them to Konoha. But I think Guy would make sure Neji especially knew that that loyalty didn't mean he had to succumb to the elders or should. At this point...I don't even know if Hiashi could put it on him. And if they tried they'd have Lee and Tenten and Guy to contend with as well. Though Guy might wind up just having to stop Lee and Tenten from committing felony murder.

Hiashi, I think, would let it go. Come up with some excuse about not wanting to limit a genuis, ect. The Elders might not buy it, but they lost their blackmail tool when Hizashi was killed, so...

Agreed. They really don't have anything they can use against him now, and if they go after Hanabi, there's gonna be blood. If they go after Hinata either, there's gonna be blood. So they totally loose. Which I think Guy would love, but not want to rub their faces in it so much in case that made them think about it more. Still though...I bet he and Neji have a lot of jokes between them about some of the elders.
