Inside a paper boxThe rain will wash me away
Through the streets of recklessness
And the country roads of confusion
Light shines in and becomes afraid
And I laugh at all the things that could be
Shuddering sorrowfully the people watch
From their buildings, from their lives
A sympathetic moment and I'm gone forever
And courage goes with me
Slowly, I start to pick the box
Softly, I start to break away
But it's all an illusion
Dampened and caught on hopes and dreams
I stop laughing and start thinking
Ill from the travels of my mind
Reality sets in and fear is home now
It never stops, this paper box
It dampens but never breaks
Where will I be tomorrow?
