He has a strong memory and makes a point of studying student records so that he at the very least can match a face to a name when he a student visits. Welker's troubled history allows him to understand the grey area of the morality of the world and understand how others may feel in a situation, although he often isn't sympathetic to their situation. He won't forget misdeeds but he also doesn't like to keep hold of potential grudges that can affect relationships and missions. He values actions over words which makes him difficult to please at times. He also values small gifts, aesthetics, and can feel overwhelmed when praised or shown admiration. His workplace is immaculate to the point where it's sometimes hard to tell if anyone has even moved into his office.

While he may participate openly in events he is prone to mother-henning and trying to do too much at once. If he's given a job he'll take it far too seriously, even resorting to roleplaying the villain in matches against other heroes or trainees if it is required. He believes in honesty to a fault and will give unapologetically blunt feedback when asked for feedback. "Free time" doesn't exist for him and he'll find small ways to keep himself busy and as a result, he has taken to trying out different hobbies that don't match his "serious" demeanor. He is not open to talking about his own past partly out of self-preservation of his status and partly out of concern that having children be too interested in his misguided past may lead them to consider breaking rules and pursuing a similar path. The process of overcoming his former life is a constant struggle as he'll sometimes consider darker solutions to problems that he hopes to never act on. B I O G R A P H Y
Welker came from a longstanding family of "invisible" quirks and immoral ideals. His family title, the villainous "Will o Wisp", was carried down the firstborn of each generation. With the title comes a fate to be used as a lackey for hire that specializes in spying and assassination. As the oldest of three Welker was destined to continue the family legacy without question. It was only after a fight in which he was betrayed by his allies and spared by a young hero that he realized the value of morality and good. After the battle, the "Will o Wisp" vanished from society and was presumed dead. When he reappeared into society a decade later he was fully reformed with a new alias and a background in private investigations. It was difficult to gain the trust of older heroes who were aware of his former title but his dedication to working and upholding the law with thankless deeds was eventually rewarded with support.

After moving overseas to Japan to continue his new life he began to assist the police as a vigilante detective. His new title earned the admiration of an officer, who reminded him of the young hero that saved him, named Haruka Aoi. They felt a strong connection and eventually became partners. Haruka faced a terrible fate shortly afterward after an attack on the city. After his death, Welker engrossed himself in his work and reformation to get his mind off of the pain of loss.

To this day Welker strives to separate himself from his dark family legacy and struggles to deal with the harsh reality that he must face his own family to do his part as a reformed man and hero.

Description: Welker's invisible form gives him a considerable advantage in stealth, recovery, and investigation missions. Mistaken for regular invisibility, Welker's appearance is comprised of ultraviolet light. This allows him to seek out potential signs of blood, injury, tracks, bacteria, stains, or anything that could possibly be unseen to the naked eye without proper washing techniques. He is also capable of picking out other invisible people/things due to this skill. His range of being able to reveal these markings depends on his aura of influence that ranges depending on his stamina use. His passive area of influence is just wherever he touches but with enough focus, he can reveal marks within his viewing perspective. This significant range is taxing and as a result, he will only use long-range viewing in brief pulsing flashes.
Drawbacks:
✖ Injuries reveal themselves brightly on his body and give away his appearance in the dark.
✖ His light fades out as his stamina drains.
✖ In the sunlight, he is simply an invisible man.
