Entry for 's 9 Genesis contest .

When I first saw the two panels, I just had to combine them, but that was only to the point I found out she was doing a contest for her comic. So, I really like this scene since it's with both of my favorite characters, and quite a reasonable one too.

For some reason, my father kept joking that 1 was confusing it for a Dalek from Dr. Who. Everytime he said it, it made me grumble.

Just to point, I'm not as good as with the expression the scientist made since I was trying it in my own style. Especially his eyes, it's a new way of tension I'm trying to do. When looking through Theodore Geisel's work, it seems like most of the time, the pupils he draws are that of excitment, which makes me want to emulate that whenever a character is excited. I might use this more often in my human characters if there is a excited scene.
