Description
This is a concept fashion illustration for my character, Odette Hoffmann, from my short story, Firebird and the Infernal Fiammetta, which is loosely inspired by the myths of Ivan Tsarevich, including those of the Swan, The Firebird, and the Grey Wolf.

I reinterpreted the theme and characters into a whole new story based on music, art, and the struggle to remain creative, with Odette as one of the principal characters and a ballerina with a secret. Her original design was to be a singer, so her concept design shows her in a long, flowing dress, while her final design features a more suitable ballerina outfit. Still, I think there's some ways to weave her wearing this kind of dress into the narrative...I'm sure she won't mind.

Maybe I can sew this some time for fun as well. There's lots of unique fabrics worth playing with in this type of silhouette.
