That is what I would call an ancient creature. >_> From prehistoric times one of the only creatures to survive to this day. Yes they do wash ashore. They are pretty cool, I have seen that before. Forgot its name.

My first time on a boat.. I freaked out and jumped in the water to just swim along side it. (dont trust boats) I realized that I could just walk because the water was shallow. That's when I looked down to see that the riverbed was 100% horseshoe crabs. My first thought was "Pokemon..?"
Didn't know horseshoe crabs lived in ocean.

Nicely done editing, its a horse shoe crab. I picked up a shell of it once. Its quite an expierience actually touching a live one too.
I think the one you had was dead, because its tail is gone.

thats pretty cool. Just one thing though....the tentecle around the arm is really bugging me for some reason...at first I though it was the lack of a shadow, but then i realised the direstion of the light. But what I think it actually is, is how the tentacle is quite sharp compared to the arm. I think what would make it look better is if you degraded the tetecle a little bit to make it look more like it was photographed as well.
