So after like two years I started to read Demon Slayer after.. a... an event.

Ok so I was in year 9 just got my haircut it was a thursday so you know i was doing my weekly anime watch of Demon Slayer anyways i was eating my spicy noodles and im watching the ball demon get nay nay'd by the curse thingo and my mum bursts in and she thinks that im watching something bad on my laptop (weird) and so she tries to yank my laptop from me and im yelling at her to let go of it and i get so miffed that i run away from home.

*breathe*
Next minute im at the door of someone i know and i know their address and house and they know me ive been to their house and anyways i burst in and i start venting about fucking anime bc that's the only thing yr 9 me knows and i guess that was my way of releasing all my shit and it feels cringe looking back at it but uhh yeah

Safe to say that I didn't really watch anime from that point on. I still finished Mob Psycho tho. Because u have to.

Also my mum said later on that she saw a demon in my eyes i am not joking english teachers write that down this is some literary gold right there how she knew j was watching shit about demons.

OK REVIEW TIME of DEMON SLAYER THE MANGA
ART STYLE: beautiful old Japanese print inspired artworks a lil goofy at times but it's beautiful
COMBAT: quick and fast, isnt dragged out bc ngl i am not reading the text lol. I finished the drum guy arc and that was cool.
CHARACTERS: finally 16 yo's that look like boys and not fully grown men i love how goofy and brave they are
CULTURE: it's a period piece of '20s japan. So u got the traditional japanese clothing and the electric wires of the country and the suits and hats of asakusa. Really interesting.
DEMONS: as a religious person (wow, shocking LOL) i do not care for the demons. It's unfortunate how they got there but cool drum man 😎😎 idk
