A young woman riddled with a curse that turns her left arm into the arm of a horned snake beast.

Sarff was once a plucky teen ready to take on the world of adventure and dungeon diving. Once she was the permitted age to go dungeon diving, she hurriedly grabbed her group of friends to form a party. But what entered a group of five came out one battle-worn and traumatised Sarff. For you see, as they ventured further and further into the dungeon, the more difficult were the enemies that they faced. They got so overpowered facing off against one enemy, the snake beast, that each member was horrifically killed off. One by one. Day by day. Sarff grew tired of battling the snake beast and stricken with grief, she bartered with the beast. She defeated the beast in exchange for a part of her body.

Sarff emerged from the dungeon ashamed and alone. She also wanted to enact revenge on the wicked snake beast, but knew that she was too weak to fight. Over time, she taught herself to bring herself closer to people again, in the founding of a new friendship with a beautiful and powerful mage. She also learned to control the "perks" that came with the snake curse: the ability to turn into a snake demon.

At first, the snake demon would only emerge from her body at night, but learnt to toggle it off and on just by drinking soup. With her newfound confidence, powers and blossoming relationship with her partner-in-crime, Sarff feels like she is ready to tackle the dungeon that once took everything away from her.
