An up-close and personal view of the Mantua/Tyco 4-8-0 kit engine. This was a partially finished kit I purchased recently from eBay. Changes from the original (which were already a part of the kit) include: the pilot beam, the Pyle headlight, new injectors, new third dome, new bell, and a Southern Pacific style cab. Hence why this engine is in a Southern Pacific style livery, black all over with a silver smokebox front and red injectors. Overall, I'm happy with how this turned out, as this is the first locomotive kit that I have ever put together. Regards.
