Description
SLM provided 7 of these rack tanks in three batches after the Great War, in 1924, '26, and '41. They were numbered 301-307. One can be seen in Nick Lera's World Steam Classics Rails to the Hejaz program working the Beirut to Damascus line which was part of the DHP. It is not known if any have survived to the present. There has been some artistic license, especially with the outside cog motion. The photograph was taken in 1965 and is very blurry and dark, so hardly any detail was captured. I had to work with the best I had.
