I was a bit confused because i knew of a game with at least a similar title that's been (and last i knew was still0 in development hell for many years, and i got the impression that this was a videogame that has been released and has been out a while. but nope, it's the same game i heard of and have been waiting for since before even No Man's Sky and Elite Dangerous came out; supposedly originally to be released before either of the others. As is, there's apparently *still* no release date.

I felt the same way when Star Control 3 languished in development hell... never to see the press of a avid gaming finger.
The cool thing about Star Citizen is that there's a lot of people making ship design contributions.
The crazy thing is just how many people are paying big bucks (real money) for ships they can only walk around and go inside in the beta version of the game.

The Javelin is the most expensive and impressive ship in Star Citizen to date. A Javelin costs $2,500 per ship, and all 200 ships of the original run have been sold.
