Some were indeed drafted into NASA, yet a few others who were working on field propulsion escaped to their last bastion in Antarctica... Which the US Navy Operation High Jump was totally incapable to dislodge.
Those Germans even made it to the Moon, Mars and beyond well back in the 40's according to some sources!
