I wanted to do something without a reference because my latest practice painting was giving me trouble. Decided on the human ear, then realized that I can't draw it without reference. Which isn't that surprising really, I haven't actually painted that many ears before. So I googled a random ear for reference and did a quick study. Am I the only one thinking that an ear on its own looks rather weird and strangely... disgusting?
