You know, that was so much fun yesterday working in pencil, I had to do it again. I am trying very hard to capture their character , and it is easier when you have more lines to work with.

There's a very thin balance between using too many lines though. Sometimes too many lines on the face can age the character so you have to describe shape by inference.
