Sakura Legends cover 3, man, this cover took some time. I was at UDON HQ in Toronto working on this. Erik was just laying into me to come up with a better pose, better composition etc etc. I had to go for a walk i was getting so frustrated, but once the rough was layed out it was smooth sailing.Related content

Just wow. I really love your style Omar-Dogan. I've seen a lot of great artists on this site who's art is simply amazing but there's something about yours that just strikes me. Great job on the cover I'm a big StreetFighter/Sakura fan so that makes it even more cooler.

I mean to a ilustration of the first alpha(Zero) for the Arcade games(you know in the lateral parts od the arcade), also is very similar to the cover of Capcom vs SNK.

What do you mean?
If you mean poster size, we didnt print that size, this was only a cover for issue three that went on sale last year in North America around December.
Only issue 1 had the mid sized poster made out of it.

I've had the same problems when it come with ideas, I would discuss them with friends and I would get crushed when they'd give me the worst critcism. I still work my way around them. Anyway, good job with the unexpected story that was in the last issue, I'm actually curious in asking: Whats your next project gonna be?

The first issue of "StreetFighter Legends: Sakura" i drew and coloured completely, whereas the remaining 3 issues i drew and coloured all of the bgs plus 25% of the characters. My friend Shane Law helped out on the characters.
But yeah i layed out, penciled inked coloured as well, all within a month.
It was the hardest project I have ever worked on, and though it was fun I don't want that type of pressure again!!

You really turned out a nice cover, it really suits the two. I really like the way you colour, I don't know what it is about it that makes it so nice. I can definatly say that Karin's locks are so nicely done. How do you do it?

I have seen the Capcom staff draw Karins's hair in many diff ways, but i liked BENGUS's way the best, he makes them look like stacked coins, its the only way i can describe it! i learn from the maste as much as i can.

Stack coins, thats a nice why to put it, and i can see what you mean. On another note, if you had time i think it would be awsome if you did a colouring tutorial, cause your style is very nice.
