BIO:Giant Archaeopteryx (始祖鳥 Shisochō, Archaeopteryx) is an Archaeopteryx kaiju from the unmade 1956 Godzilla film, Bride of Godzilla.
Giant Archaeopteryx, along with Godzilla, Anguirus and Giant Chameleon come from the center of the hollow Earth and attack Kyushu. They are all ultimately defeated by Robot Daughter.
Trivia
The Giant Archaeopteryx was possibly a predecessor to Rodan, as Bride of Godzilla was planned to be released the same year as Rodan, and some early concept art of Rodan depicts him as more like an Archaeopteryx than a Pteranodon.
