For some reason, this looks more like a 2D artwork rather than a 3D render. It's probably due to the highlights around the robot, which is in stark contrast to the background, or it's just my senses dulled from late night art surfing.

Either way, interesting concept and nice work with the modeling of the robot. There's not an excessive amount of exposed parts which could slow down the rendering time for anyone who wants to use this character in an animation.

There is a large gallery of so caled charachters here on DA, but for a long time I have not seen such complete and likable creature! Complete, simple, strong, like a trusty dog or a cat mice catcher
