Didnt mean it was given in love.
One can only wonder what it really meant.
Or where it came from, but the story of this rose is lost in history. Not even the lonely fly lying in the water can tell his story anymore.
What ashame.

(this rose sits in the windowpane of the bording house I moved into, but no one knows its story... Or wants to tell. But its obviously special. and yes... there is a dead fly in the water.I really like this rose. I have some nice shots of it, Its just a very photogenic thing. Alone in its vase,dead but still beautiful and full of meaning. One day Ill figure out its story. But its one of those special things that just came with this place....It is over 100 years old, so it has old stories. )
