I have a new FAVOURITE thing: Strawberry Shake Sweet!Finally a manga that combines my love of girls and madcap humour! You'd think a story about idols in a Tokyo talent agency wouldn't be my thing, BUT THERE YOU GO.
I wanted to draw fan art just for that, but you despite how much I love it, it's not really the type of thing I draw fan art for. This was really difficult to do. What does it take? Fighting? Armour? Titania?
But despite all the yuri girls, Saeki is definitely my favourite. She plays the straight man to everyone's insanity (and is perhaps the only straight one herself). And she's surrounded by deviants. She spends most of the series trying to keep Julia in check because, as their manager, she doesn't want to invite SCANDAL.
And if you happen to read the series yourself on Mangafox take note that they placed the bonus chapter that came with Volume One right after the first chapter (I guess they listed it as Chapter 1.5 instead of Volume 1.5). It really only makes sense if you've read up to Chapter 7 though.

oh gosh, I know this has been in your gallery for over a year now, but when I saw it I just had to fave and comment. I love love love this series! Ever since the first chapter I was hooked. And yes, saeki is a character, a very amusing and entertaining counterpart to julia. I was glad she could find peace at the end when she just tuned them out XD. But meh, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say great piece and thanks for the lolz, made my morning.

I'm starting to wonder if 'Strawberry' is the japanese code word for 'girl on girl action yo'.
Oh ho ho, but I do enjoy this very much. I think the thing I like most about it is that two out of three people are either drowning or being assaulted by gardening equipment while party three is just standing there with a fantastic 'wat' expression on her face.
And isn't that unforseen fanart barrier really annoying? It happens to me all the the time, even within Fire Emblem! It's terrible!

I think Strawberry is just a super popular word for shoujo titles. Looking at other titles with Strawberry... lots of little romance stuff, but I couldn't find any more girl on girl, yo. (Did find a really BIZARRE one-shot about a frog named Strawberry-Chan.)

After seeing this I went on mangafox and read it. I've never read yuri(well it's really more shojo-ai) before but it was awesome and freaking hilarious. I can really see Saeki spraying Julia with ahose to calm her down/make her shut up.

It's just seventeen chapters. +2 extra chapters. It looks like mangaka had a love/hate relationship with it and went on hiatus for a couple years. But she come back and finished it while apologizing for making the characters too stupid to get the original conclusion.
