The Lowman following the road through the field of orchids on his way to the Witchus Tower....

this is more or less an illustration for an upcoming short story i'm working on. i took a bit for the ending from the dark tower (only in the story the tower is white, called a Witchus tower, and is in a field of orchids [oh, and on a completely different world that the dark tower]). my story involves extraterrestrials, the evacuation of all living creatures from planet earth by those extraterrestrials, and a possible fix for The Lowman's problems. so it differs greatly from stephen king's dark tower, i just thought i'd pay homage to one of my favourite authors by throwing in a tower reference at the end.

---style is what i call "squiggly line", does wonders for backgrounds
---scanner scanned it in too light so the pink of the hills and the brown in the tree (and a good portion of the sky) are practically non-existent even after program manipulation.
