[OPEN] Monthly Creativity Competition (MCC) Important notice! This event is in trial mode, meaning we are still figuring out what works and what doesn't! Thank you for your patience as we test it out.Every month, Seraphling community hosts a art and writing competition with featured winners and lots of fun prizes and participation rewards!Each new month unveils a new prompt for you to illustrate or write about and enter into the competition to win grand prizes. 📬SubmissionsAll illustrations must feature one official Seraphling, masterlist in the description, and have a background with depth and detail. Brushes must be used transformatively, the background cannot be too blurred out, and no photo-bashed or AI generated content will be accepted. Give it your best shot!Writings must be at least 1000 words, feature at least one official Seraphling, and tell a full complete story. Basic spelling and grammar must be edited and show a clear amount of effort and thought. *This may end up being its own category depending on how the MCC goes...*Illustrated stories and comics are a hybrid of drawing and writing that take much effort and planning. Following the criteria of illustrations, at least one panel must have a background with depth, but there is no minimum word count on these.Animations are a wonderful medium but at this time, we will not be accepting animated stories or animation memes, anything that must be uploaded to YouTube. Gifs and moving illustrations that can be uploaded to DeviantArt are accepted.📝JudgingAll prompt submissions will be entered into the competition automatically, and there will be a small select winners of the feature depending on the amount of entries.Feature winners will be picked by our team of mods based on the amount of love, effort, and lore you put in, no matter your style or skill level. We will not be looking at statistics (e.g. hours taken) as we are looking at the overall end result and its creativity.🎁PrizesEvery prompt is eligible to earn bells and the extra spitshine polish and effort you put in will be rewarded!Winners are eligible to get their pick of a two Blessed trait MYO or a two Cursed trait MYO. If your entry is especially spectacular, you might even get a custom from OMNIDAD!We will also be rolling random winners depending on the amount of submissions.Two potions (your pick of blessed or cursed) are in the random prize pool automatically. For every ten submissions, a common MYO slot will be added. For every thirty, or at mods discretion, an adoptable.🎨PromptThe prompt for the month of January: self discovery! It's a brand new year, who are you? It's time to introspect. Draw or write about defining character traits of your new Seraphling, core memories, important character details, morals or life goals.This month's prompt is intentionally vague and creatively open so that y'all can stretch your metaphorical and literal wings and learn more about your character!Submit your JANUARY entries Here!this event will run 1/3/2023 - 1/31/2023, and submissions close when it is no longer 1/31 anywhere in the world.
