Thanks for the kind words everyone. Doing selective color is pretty simple if you have Photo/Paint Shop - it just takes a lot of time.
Open the pic you want to edit, add a new layer.
Fill that new layer with black.
Change that layer's Blending Mode to Saturation and you should now have a black and white picture (basically)
Still on your black filled layer just erase the bits you want colored (so the bottom layer shows through). If you erase to much you can just use a brush with black as it's paint color to fix any errors.

An alternative, but harder because you can't go back with a black brush, is:
Open your picture, duplicate the picture on to a new layer.
Reduce it's saturation to 0.
On the now black and white picture erase the areas you want the color from the bottom layer to show through.

I agree, this is nice work. Love how you brought out the colors of the lantana this way. I don't know how to do this either, but I sure like how you have done it. So beautiful in it's contrast!
