Yes, he is. In volume 3, Renji has just been nominated for the part of Beauty in the school production of "Sleeping Beauty" and Ichigo got the prince.

Could you imagine? At their first practice, Ichigo is told he has to kiss the sleeping Renji, and they're both, like, NO WAY! So they both agree to pretend--Ichigo just hovers over Renji's face--but then a stupid stagehand knocks some lighting over trying to get a good look and it hits Ichigo and he sprawls all over Renji. The whole cast and director are, like, OOOH, and then . . . OMG, it's one little strip and I've already invested so much story into it!
