Description This is for my Chappy~chan, the ever lovely ~SpecterQueen ! It started out goth, then went through a bit of skater punk, then finally settled on the kinds of outfits I wouldn't mind ripping off . . . er, seeing these guys in! Chappy, I hope it's okay! I was so touched by your gift art to me that I just sat down and finished this for you! For those who want to see the absolutely adorable gift art she did for me, here's the link:

In any case, I didn't use references except for hair and a few clothing details. Maybe they don't look like the guys . . . I don't know . . . *hides* I wanted to do something different, so it's really okay if you all hate it. It's definitely different from the stuff I ordinarily do, I know, but this was inspired by an unposted pic I did of the Niju Shotai team under Asuma. I couldn't finish it . . . sorry . . .

For composition's sake, I did away with Izumo's chin covering and Kotetsu's nose sling, so maybe it worked, maybe it didn't. For some reason, I felt like doing this in ballpoint since I could work on it wherever I went, but maybe this would look better all linearted and colored. Please bear with me as I go all low-tech on you . . .

**REVISED** - I wanted to try shading their faces and making them look a little more "real." Maybe people like them better without the shading, but it was really, really bugging me so I had to do something!

ballpoint - from my super 12-pack of Pilot Better Retractable pens (fine point) . . . I guess I just thought that if the world ended tomorrow, I'd have plenty of pens to keep drawing before I succumbed to some hideous viral plague . . .

Gah!!! It's amazing!!! You made them both look totally hot...

I love it soooo much!!! And don't worry, it looks good even though it's done with ballpoint pen. I know that if I were to make something with a pen it'd turn out looking like crap.

And it may be different from your usual stuff, but it's a good difference! So I could never hate it!

Hurray! Thank you so much! Well, when they're hot to begin with, that makes the job much easier! Ah, yeah, I wouldn't say that ballpoint is the medium of choice for many people, but I always carry a few with me wherever I go! I've even drawn on those paper tableclothes at restaurants and torn out my drawings to take home with me! Thanks so much for faving!

And all in pen, too! -sighs enviously- my twibling's hooked on pen for her artwork all the time, and it's definately a bolder statement if used right when compared to the same thing in pencil.

Tho i gotta admit, i think the nose-bandage could have been put back in. Then again, i'm waaaay to biased towards that thing as it is. -sweatdrops-

Oh, thank you! Yeah, sometimes you have to let go of the pencil and be willing to make mistakes! And it does come out bolder as a result!

Ah, I would have left the nose bandage, but I seriously don't know what function it serves him! All I know is that I want to see more of his face, not less of it! Besides, maybe people who don't watch or read Naruto might end up liking it for what it is, and I'm too lazy to explain life's mysteries like nose slings to people who don't know . . . Oh, and thanks for the fave too!
