Description Finally finished the first of my requests from the last contest! I was so delighted when *kawaiiS asked for Samurai Champloo! There's very little fanart of this amazing anime . . . though if it were up to me, Samurai Champloo fanart would consist mostly of a nude Jin . . . So maybe it's good it's not up to me . . .

If you haven't watched this anime, you've definitely missed out! In fact, I started watching it again because of this request, and it's even better than I remember . . . especially shirtless Jin . . . For those who have watched it, yes, I know Mugen is not nearly so scruffy as he is in the anime, but I adapted them to my own style. He cleans up pretty well, no?

So sorry this isn't Naruto, guys, but I think that all the rest of my other requests are Naruto except for one Bleach. I just have to scan in and color now . . . if I can be torn away from Twilight Princess . . .

Thanks so much! Ah, well, I could always draw them Naruto-style, but what would be the point, right? Actually, I only used refs for things like hair, which is really complicated in Samurai Champloo! I'm glad you liked them in suits too!

Oh, thank you! Yeah, he's my favorite character too, and damn straight he's badass! Actually, when I first started watching it, I didn't know whether or not I liked Jin or Mugen better. And now watching it again, I can definitely say it's Jin.

You should never have to apologize for straying from your normal stuff. In fact, it's a good thing since you are doing something new and not repetive work (it's good to have diveristy in one's life).

Aww, thanks for not taking me to task for not being completely Narutocentric! I definitely do fanart from other fandoms, but no one's ever really asked me to do much besides Bleach and Naruto. But I'm glad that people like this piece even if they've never seen the anime. And yeah! Jin all the way! I mean, I like Mugen, and he definitely has his good points, but Jin's the one I'd be stalking and taking pictures of . . .

Thank you so much! Jin was the easiest to clothe since he'd definitely go for the traditional suit and tie, and Mugen was fun because he'd wear something offbeat. I'm so glad you liked it, and thanks for the fave!
