Well, I decided to go ahead and tackle the rest of the teams, black & white style. With a dash of punk.
I love Team 10, and the X is because the Roman numeral for 10 is X. Yeah, I know . . . maybe I'm cheesy . . . but hey! Unless you're lactose-intolerant, I think you'll survive . . . 
Oh, well, come to think of it . . . maybe Team X is REALLY Team (Se)X . . . ah . . . yeah, I definitely think they're hot . . . especially Shikamaru . . .
And please don't tell me I didn't make Chouji fat enough! I'll draw him any way I want, dammit! 
Still, I hope you all feel I did this team justice . . .ballpoint sketch

Chouji looks fine to me, does look a bit thinner than I think he would normally. Still he always looks better when you remove that weird thing he wears on his head. Seriously, they look like panties with a forehead protector attached to them.

Well you know... if you really wanted to draw a badass chouji, could always do an older him having taken that super-hero-butterflywings-whatever pill of his. I bet after all that training he's probably got a lot of buff-ness under that mass of his.

I really love the expression on Chouji's face. He looks so mischievous, like he's daring you to challenge him to a fight he knows he'll win. haha. And I like that you didn't make him "fat enough" because he looks older, which I'm guessing is what you wanted to go for?
Shikamaru is...well...he's Shikamaru. What's not to love about him? I love the pose you gave him; it suits him perfectly.

Thank you! This team was a little tougher to draw sexy only because a lot of people really only like Shikamaru, who is sexy anyway! I love Chouji, so I spent a lot of time on his expression and pose because mischievous was EXACTLY the look I was going for . . . Your comment really made my day! I'm so glad it worked! And yes, I wanted them to look older even if I used elements from their look when they were rookies. And I don't think Shikamaru minds you jumping into his lap . . . he's been accosted constantly since I put this up . . .

i actually think you made ino look more attractive then she is in the series, but im sorry to say...shika and choji arent as impressive
i dont know how to say it but they seem flat...yes its a line drawing and its hard to show depth. The stylizations are great but something about it just seems off...compared to your team 8 rendition.
i just wanted to give a little critique instead of crazy amazing compliments(i do enjoy your work i hope you know that)...later ill have to scold you with leather

Yeah, I find it a challenge to draw characters sitting down. I'd rather have them doing something . . . I suppose if I had put more seams and wrinkles in their pants, then it would have helped, but I just made the decision to leave them the way they were because I might as well color them if I go to all that trouble!

I love crosshatching, but you're right. It's best saved for the really dramatic, tense moments . . . or, as you say, when shit is going down.
