Knocked senseless by Cynthia first, then forced to submit to Laura, and finally a crippling loss to Vikki in a match even Vikki said she should have won. ‘No more’ she thought and turned up the speed even more on the step machine. It was time for her to become that college athlete again. No offense to any of these other girls, but none of them should be holding a candle to her athletically. Maybe Vikki, but she had just proved she wasn’t much of a match when Raye put her mind to it. It was a mistake that had cost her, not Vikki’s talent. Another mistake was not using her best asset. She looked down at her legs, strong and wiry. These were going to bring pain every chance she got from now on.
