Trying to imitate a masterpiece...
... the emphasis lies on TRYING....
The original has a man lying on the floor and is in b/w, unfortunately I don't know the name of the photographer...
I saw it in a photo book about nude photography, so now I will have to dig up that book and find out!

What a great idea!
Next time, it might be nice to get a cleaner silhouette on the foot. Separating it from the other shin will make it that much stronger.

Imitation or not, I love that this is so obviously a human body, even though it's in such an odd position, and with such a different perspective.
The body is amazing, with all its crazy curves and contours.

hi onelook, that was a beautiful picture. I really like the quiet atmosphere and how the body is surrounded by white. The skin tone and lighting is lovely, close and dreamlike at the same time.
If I am to offer my critisism, it must be that the composition is a bit unbalanced. in my view the persons raised leg is pointing to the right and because the image is cropped on the right side and with not much in that void space, the body seems to fall over to the right. Also, the foot in the front is a bit dominant. I like it how it covers the body, but in contrast to the rest of the image, it is not that elegant. too flat and dominant. maybe it could have been better with the foot slightly pointed?
anyway, sehr gut gemacht, ein traumhaftes Photo...

I see what you mean, I guess it's a matter of taste! Anyway, it's just the 1:1 imitation of a picture that already exists and I really didn't find it falling over to the right when looking at it! But I guess not everyone sees things exactly the same way!

Was eine Frage . . .
NatΓΌrlich kann ich mich an das erste Bild erinnern:
Ein simples s/w-Foto, bisschen schwarze Farbe verwendet, Selbstportrait, allerdings ohne komplettes Gesicht.
Weil es die KΓΌnstlerin selbst zeigt , ist es ok, andernfalls wΓΌrde es mir (wegen fehlendem Gesicht) nΓ€mlich garnicht gefallen.
Vielleicht gefΓ€llt es Dir nicht, nachdem ich eben zum ersten Mal in Deiner Gallery war sah ich Dein Stil ist anders, also hier schau selbst: [link] , um meine Meinung zu verstehen sollte man wissen sie hat's mit Katzen. Ich auch.
Wobei ich sie hier: [link] als Mary Poppins umwerfend finde, oder hier [link] als Snow White. Aber das hat alles dann nichts mit "artistic nude" zu tun.
Die Bemerkung hat auch ein bissel was mit der Art zu tun, wie drΓΌben in den US mit der "category" umgegangen wird. Sollen sie sich doch extra eine fΓΌr "Menschenfleisch" einrichten.
(In Deiner Gallery hatte ich nix zu meckern. Sieht aus als wenn die Fotografin das hat, was von den Betrachtern erbeten wird: Respekt.)
