Trying to imitate a masterpiece...
... the emphasis lies on TRYING....
The original has a man lying on the floor and is in b/w, unfortunately I don't know the name of the photographer...
I saw it in a photo book about nude photography, so now I will have to dig up that book and find out!

great composition and execution in terms of light and tones, nice touch with the tattoo adding just a little bit of noise to the overall serene effect (and since i can't read the characters it adds to the "mystique" of not seeing a face or any features to speak of)

It's quite geometric for a portrait, which i really like. I also enjoy the very "tasteful" angle that just adds a special je ne sais quoi to this shot. and before i get ahead of myself, i love that the lighting and color are just right, the white in the background isn't too contrasting for the shot.

Now thats cool! It reads like english: left to right (composition-wise). And how it creates the overlaping perspective effect with the feet as foreground the bent leg as the center and the arm in the background and you still kept the overall clarity. Nice work!
