Struggling with myself.I grew up emotionally neglected and I feel as if nothing will ever fix it.
I feel like a firework crushed into a body.
My life is compromise.
My life is tearing myself apart to make others comfortable.
I have to tell myself sometimes that it’s okay if all I do is keep breathing.
Sometimes that is a lot of strength in itself.
It’s taking far beyond everything in me to live a mediocre existence.
