Wanted to try my hand at something that comes closer to an actual illustration.And so, I bring you the end that he never got to see.

Legato Bluesummers: in my opinion, one of the most monstrous and nihilistic characters to ever grace not just the face of manga, but the face of fiction itself, rivalled only by the Joker and Carnage. A man who brings suffering to the world not because it gives him a purpose or because he wants revenge, or even because he wants to show Vash how worthless his ideals are (come on, even that's not the full reason), but because, at the core, he just enjoys destruction for destruction's sake.
God, I find him so interesting!
But enough of my rambling, onto the picture. This is very well done, not to mention ominous. The colors nicely swirl together to make some very eerie shadows, and Legato looks like somebody crossed him with the Grim Reaper, what with the way we can only see his silhouette. I love the way you've made his eyes glow in the dark of the night. For some reason, I've always loved that effect. Standing in the middle of the street? Perfect touch. It makes me think that he's about to have a showdown with Vash that will determine something more than just whether he will continue to terrorize innocents.
Overall, this is a great pic. Cream of the crop! Welcome to the list.
